New toolkit launched for DClinPsy addiction placements
A new toolkit has been launched to support the development and delivery of addiction placements within Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) programmes. Designed for placement providers, supervisors and training programmes, the toolkit brings together practical guidance, examples and resources to strengthen the quality, consistency and accessibility of addiction placements. It aims to support more trainees to gain high‑quality experience in this specialist area, helping to build clinical psychology capability across drug and alcohol services and improve outcomes for people experiencing substance‑related harm.

Call for Frailty and Dementia Evidence- Deadline 8th May
NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) are developing a Modern Service Framework (MSF) for Frailty and Dementia. As part of this work, an Evidence Gathering Exercise is being held, looking for examples of interventions and innovations for frailty and dementia that are at all stages of maturity, including interventions that are already delivering impact or programmes which are no longer active, as well as emerging models.
A MS Form has been developed for to gather evidence, and we would greatly appreciate your response, please access here: Frailty and Dementia Evidence Gathering Exercise – Fill in form. You will receive an automated response once your submission is received. The deadline for submissions is: 17:00 on Friday 8th May
Please note that while completion of certain sections of the form is mandatory, many sections are optional and may be left blank should you have limited time or capacity. You are encouraged to provide as much information as possible, but it is not a requirement to complete every part in full to participate in this exercise.
